Searching for the Next Spielberg: Duke’s Digital iMovie Festival—iTunes U News

Itunes_u_home_header_2_2_2Every year, the entering freshman class at Duke University has the unique opportunity to become a part of one of the nation’s top digital movie festivals. The program, called Froshlife, brings first-year students together in an effort to produce, act, and direct in their own 8-minute films. The university provides video, computer, and editing equipment to the students, and the rest is up to them.
