EcoAlert: Japan/China Tensions Rise Over Oil & Gas Resources of a Remote Island Chain
Anti-Japan protests erupted in at least 100 Chinese cities this week, as anger over a struggle for control of oil and gas in the East China Sea turned violent, and increased the tension between the countries.
The East China Sea is rich in oil and gas reserves, many of which have only been discovered in recent decades. Both China and Japan are both eager to claim ownership as the energy demand grow rapidly.

Let's start World War III over this. Here we go again. Fighting and dying over a piece of land. Let's see what if we just divide the islands evenly and let both countries have the rights to drill for oil and gas.
Wait that would be too logical let's just have that World War III. That way a lot of innocent people can die over this.
