Comment of the Day: New Research Confirms Mysterious, Invisible Dark Matter Exists
"I love how people think dark matter and dark energy have something to do with each other just because they are both labeled as dark properties of the cosmos. They don't. And as for dark matter, dismissing it is just as stupid as denying evolution. All possible outcomes must be at worst ignored until disproven. Dismissing something based on intuition is a human flaw science cannot afford. And also dark matter is a term we made up when not discovering enough baryonic mass to account for the gravitational forces we observe. That means You can dismiss the idea of dark matter being WIMPS we havent discovered yet, but not the idea of dark matter itself. It's a concept not a definition."

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.We actually only started showing a real INTEREST to the CREATION that we are connected to. It's too mysterous and comlicated that our BRAIN has to work harder with help of high tech. There will be a lot of mistakes and disappointmens ahead before we find real truth!

Good point:
"All possible outcomes must be at worst ignored until disproven. Dismissing something based on intuition is a human flaw science cannot afford."
By the same coin, too many people dismiss the possibility of a designer/creator without any evidence, simply on the intuition that one does not exist. I don't remember the exact number but Dawkins said the odds against a creator are about 99%. Where did he get that number? No evolutionist should bring up odds anyway since so many of the things that have to happen for the theory to be reality are statistically impossible.

Everything has something to do with everything else if it's in the same universe.

Yes, i agree that the notions of dark matter and dark energy will continue to have a say till proven to be wrong. As per the best estimates of total matter/energy in the universe, about 5 % is visible baryonic matter, 50% is dark non-baryonic matter and the rest 45 % is dark energy, responsible for pushing matter in an ever accelerating way outward from the point of origin, the Big Bang event! The problem of Creator is an enigma that science may well leave to basic philosophers, as it can not be proved except through belief and faith. Science exists to understand how nature around us is working and not why it is so doing? After all why humans came only in the last billion years of the universe's existence of 14 billion years. One can marvel at the logic and design of evolution. After all, if we have intelligence and wisdom as a human being there has to be 'something ' far more intelligent and wise to have generated the whole show. It is hard to believe that such an event can get generated out of random/chaos. Order contains randomness but the vice verse can not be true!Similarly, silence contains noise and not vice verse. Such is the importance of both nothing and silence.

dark matter is consisting of the "uncondensed" part of the components that created neutrons and protons. It`s lame to consider that all this doe condensed to form visible matter. In the uncondensed form, the components are too small to interfere with light, that`s why we call it dark matter. We should better call it transparent matter. As for the dark energy it`s just a supposition. What we see now, the visible universe, is maybe expanding, but that doesn`t mean that the rest of the universe isn`t compressing.
