"Hopefully, someone/agency “up top” has done a matrix of ET life form possibilities. Personally, I am both bothered and intrigued by the apparent NASA focus on looking for ET life that resembles us - either chemically or physically, i.e., in the “Goldilocks” zones of distant stars - when we have ample examples of strangely shaped life here on earth…with varying chemistries."

It is so tempting to think or believe that there must be at least 3 generations of living organisms in the universe as 13.7 billions years could easy produce 3 and a half generations bearing in mind that the 4.5 billion-year-old solar system produced the earth -and perhaps many more of earthlike planets. Therefore, the first generation of intelligent living organisms started their life cycle almost 10 billion years ago. That is to say we are 10 billion years underdeveloped than the first, and 5 billion years than the second generation. Hence, I totally agree that their level of advancement could well be beyond our comprehension. Regards, MS
