There has to be a Creator.

Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?

After watching that and seeing how completely tiny our planet, and us as a species, are how can you possibly believe we are the only ones?

@douglas
To compare God to fairies and relegate him to the "bottom" is both as nonsensical as you believing that all of this order, organization and precision that was just shown us in this video is just a coincidence of time, luck, luck and humans guessing and recanting their theories over and over again.

Saying there has to be a creator (lower case c) solves nothing. Who created the creator?
Posted by: Chuck | February 23, 2012 at 10:41 AM
Like I said in another post why would that be any business of us measly humans? We cant create a moon, planet, astroid, galaxy, galactic cluster, nebula or any of the such. Everything we create is artificial. It was already here somewhere in the universe. If there was a machine in demension 10^999999999 and humans lived forever we would still never get there to even see the machine, let alone duplicate the machine. You're asking the wrong question "chuck". Instead give us proof that there isnt a Creator and dont use theories that keep getting revised and tweaked, circular conversation or fantasy science.

How about you explain to me how something comes from nothing. We all know that's impossible. GOD and Christ are real.

Thanks that was a good video

So the creationist says that the universe is not eternal, it had to be created by god.
So he says god is eternal and made the universe.... And for some reason is fascinated by us on our little world....
How can you possibly believe that?
Posted by: Kennedy | February 24, 2012 at 12:57 AM
Creationist, people who believe in God and especially big bang theorist believe that the universe is eternal.
But how would the matter of God caring about this planet matter on the debate on creation v evolution. But .. the fact that that humans have everything they not only need AND want clearly shows that God cared and still cares for humankind. Evolution couldn't do that and make humans without the aid of intelligence. Time and chance just cannot do that. No matter how many trillions of years pass by. That would require more faith than all of the people of religion on earth put together to the millionth power.
Now for the answers as to why all the messed up stuff happens on earth is another conversation.

Creationists have conjured a mythical deity from nothing to explain what they can't understand. Answer your own question; if it's impossible to create something from nothing what or who created god? I know it's scary out there in the dark but get over it. Religion kills. Appreciate the universe for what it is, a magnificent and beautiful enigma we will never fully understand and stop using it to lend credence to your mythology.

And Brennan I can't prove there isn't one any more than you can prove there is one. I'm guessing if there is it's pretty unlikely it micromanages us to the degree you'd like to believe. The problem is we ascribe names to it like god, Jesus, Allah, Zeus, Odin, whatever and have been killing each other in their name for thousands of years. Religion is the cruelest joke humanity has ever perpetrated on itself.

And religion has done more than it's fair share of good. I'm not denying that religion has been the cause of much bad either. But those actions were initiated by humans with selfish greed, ambition and overall wickedness to begin with. They use religion as a front no less than man uses politics as a front his agenda, good or bad. But you cannot tell me that without religion man wouldnt find other ways to do the maligned things that happen today because they already do. And that brings about a deeper question. Is man really that evil or is there some other unseen force behind it all? You might say no, there is no devil. He doesnt exist. But we say black holes, dark matter and dark energy exist because there is surrounding evidence to support it. But can you tell me that we can look at the world today with it's list of cruelties, evilness, wickedness, greediness, etc, etc and tell me that something powerful doesnt have control over this world? It isnt getting better. If you think it is Evolution and the Big Bang theory are the least of the things fooling you.
