Ray is a modern day prophet. All prophets have had the ability to see current situations and extrapilate future propabilites. Ray does this but with a depth of knowledge that is truly breath taking. Ray understands that all of our current technological development is eventaully preparing Humanity for life off Earth. Whether that be Mars or deep space he knows that our future is a symbiotic relationship with machines traveling the depths of inner and outer space.
