"The Apocalypse, What Now?" Instructional Video
Wired recently looked at the Georgia Guidestones,
and if you just went "what?" you should read on. Anything so genuinely
weird and effective made by human hands deserves your attention. It's
basically a "So there's been an Apocalypse: What Now?" instructional
video, for a world where the cutting edge of entertainment technology
is a chisel.
The "Guidestones" are six twenty-ton,
five meter tall granite slabs covered in inscriptions. The stones are
arranged to line up with various astrological phenomena, obviously to
make people pay attention (it works pretty well for Stonehenge), while
the instructions are intended to guide the survivors of some unnamed
catastrophe in rebuilding civilization. They were erected in 1979 and
things immediately got stupid, because in case you haven't noticed, you
can't run an ad for butter these days without offending
someone.
The first to get upset were the religious, of course, who really don't seem to realize that we take "offended" as their normal state these days. Local pastors decried the work as Satanic before it was even finished, pointing out how the evil, blasphemous suggestions on the stones (things like "UNITE HUMANITY" and "REPRODUCE WISELY") were clearly the work of the Antichrist. Because only the embodiment of evil could possibly want a stable, peaceful population.
The witchcraft-wannabes were next, displaying all the idiocy of their consecrated colleagues but without the pay or nice buildings. We can only feel sorry for the secretive founder of the stones, as occult-idiots dressed all in black (possibly because emo hadn't been invented yet) pranced around and inconvenienced chickens under stones which actually said, in giant letters in eight languages, "RULE... ALL THINGS WITH TEMPERED REASON."
But if you really want insanity you've got to go with the conspiracy theorists. The award for "Stupidest Things Said About The Stones", an award we genuinely wouldn't have believed existed this time last week, must go to "activist" Mark Dice. We say "activist", because unless "Smash the state by bringing down the average IQ!" is the rallying cry for the resistance these days we don't know what he's contributing. He claims that the stones have a deep satanic origin, and that "The Guidestones are the New World Order's Ten Commandments."
That's beyond retarded, and in case you're wondering, yes, he uses the usual "They're telling us exactly what they're doing in order to laugh at us" explanation. Somebody secretly in charge of the world doesn't need a gigantic monument to laugh at you, Marc. We've only got eyes and we can laugh at you just fine, and someone who can buy and sell solid-gold hookers holding white tiger cubs doesn't need to spend time like us plebs.
For many the most contentious command is "MAINTAIN HUMANITY UNDER 500,000,000 IN PERPETUAL BALANCE WITH NATURE", which is the Instant Idiot Detector cunningly included in the monument. The fearmongers and nutbars claim this is part of a plan to exterminate humanity. The command is written on a twenty-ton rock on top of a hill! This is not like a memo on the Hall Of Injustice fridge, this is so obviously intended to be read AFTER the catastrophe has occured we honestly feel a bit stupider for having to spell it out. How obvious? Well, how obvious do you find a hundred-ton-plus monument on the highest hill in the area? If your answer is anything but "Extremely", then we thank you for reading this via your braille-pad.
For those interested, the actual instructions read:
MAINTAIN HUMANITY UNDER 500,000,000
IN PERPETUAL BALANCE WITH NATURE
GUIDE REPRODUCTION WISELY —
IMPROVING FITNESS AND DIVERSITY
UNITE HUMANITY WITH A LIVING
NEW LANGUAGE
RULE PASSION — FAITH — TRADITION
AND ALL THINGS
WITH TEMPERED REASON
PROTECT PEOPLE AND NATIONS
WITH FAIR LAWS AND JUST COURTS
LET ALL NATIONS RULE INTERNALLY
RESOLVING EXTERNAL DISPUTES
IN A WORLD COURT
AVOID PETTY LAWS AND USELESS
OFFICIALS
BALANCE PERSONAL RIGHTS WITH
SOCIAL DUTIES.
PRIZE TRUTH — BEAUTY — LOVE —
SEEKING HARMONY WITH THE
INFINITE
BE NOT A CANCER ON THE EARTH —
LEAVE ROOM FOR NATURE —

It continues to surprise me how people find such a message as this to be threatening.
Then again I'm not very bright, which may be the problem.
Nice post!

What people fear is the repetition of failed ideas and the arrogant, leftist views that led to them.
They fear those who put themselves in charge of enforcement.
The socialist army that always arises under leftists to put down the people and bring their "enlightenment."
Look at what's entailed here.
Eugenics.
"One child" policies and forced abortions.
Atheism at gunpoint.
Globalism and the suppression of cultural identity.
The destruction of liberty, or the elevation of one right over another.
People who thought Hitler wanted what they wanted didn't see him as a threat, either. They were blinded to it, because they thought when he said some of these same things that they were in his socialist circle and safe from harm.
Until their "genetically unfit" relatives were carted off and gassed in the back of a truck as part of Aktion 14.

If these things are Satanic then my coffee is from the darkest bowls of Hell for being so devilishly good.
The only people "offended" by this seem to be those who are natural idiots. Ugh.
Unite Humanity - Oh, yeah...I think the Devil said something about wanting to destroy Humanity by making them work together...*tears hair off head* Argh!

In a world where 14 million foreign citizen invade the US, and most of the US citizen are made afraid by the media, to say a word about the negative characteristics of the INVADERS... Violent criticism of any positive manifestation, is no wonder. There are too many American Americans with no love for America the beautiful.

The explanation of the wide acceptance of anti American ideas, even by true American Americans, is a generation long brainwashing campaign effected by mostly movie and
serials producers. Many have been, unwittingly, used by ideologists interested in destroying the American Way of Life and mores, by showing a specific minority actors as being superior policemen, heroes, doctors, lawyers, etc.,
and being granted jobs/positions by preferring the eventual minority quota principle, to professional capacity. So the minorities are taking the reins of American society and even the freedom of speech is being is endangered. If not, e.g., during a boxing match between a white and a negro boxer, both are always identified by the color of their pants (?!).

Anything positive like a message in stone that doesn't carry Christian or Judaeo - Christian overtones makes the Right - Wing Christians suspect the Devil.

Anything promoting harmony, unity & brotherhood is automatically Satanic or secular & NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
& if you believe that, I have a bridge with a SWELL view of Brooklyn to sell you.....
Or maybe some land for a Summer resort in the Himalayas.
Humans get crazy over the dumbest things.

I agree with the eugenics thing. But I don't think ruling faith with tempered reason mean atheism at gunpoint.
As for the cultural identity thing...
"LET ALL NATIONS RULE INTERNALLY
RESOLVING EXTERNAL DISPUTES
IN A WORLD COURT"
I don't even know where you get destruction of liberty save perhaps the population/ eugenics issue.
And what's wrong with one right being more important than another? There are such things as priorities.
What I'm saying is it isn't that bad.

Rule all things with tempered reason.....
Sounds like bad advice to me. just kidding.
Right Wing Nuts don't believe in reason, because they love to stir things up with fear - mongering & " Us - vs Them " paranoia to motivate their brainless sheep.

To completely deny that these structures were made by group(s) with un-American, globalist agendas is a mistake.
Although I agree with a few of the guidestone's instructions, it is clear that the creators of such a thing do not share the ideals of our American forefathers.
It seems that those who deny conspiracies (and attack conspiracy theorists *ad hominem*) are/were unable to perceive the existence of those conspiracies before it was brought to their attention by those theorists. They then become defensive and instantly begin attacking the person, but never really their ideas.
Luke McKinney you appear to call others insane at the drop of a hat, yet would you deny that these people (myself included) have done more research on the topic than yourself? We read the guidestone instructions and instantly the words of "one-world Rockefeller" and others, come to mind; read his memoir. Globalists want exactly the things on the guidestones. Tell me I'm wrong.
I am not insane or uneducated (far from both), yet I believe that the NWO is real and is possibly behind the guidestones.
They know that people like you, with your incomplete information and formless, ambiguous opinions, will name call and cast doubt just because you feel intellectually superior before even understanding what you are talking about.
You are not a journalist, apparently. At least not a good one. They are rare nowadays.

Excellent. I love the Internet... all you have to do is post something harmless and even sensible, and watch the nutjobs swarm out of the woodwork.

Leucedendra explains the Georgia Guidestones (our version of Stonehenge) in which the earth must be reduced to a population of 500,000,000. That means 6,300,000,000 must be harvested as food for their protein and water. In her web site www.betweendeath.com, Leucedendra reveals what the criteria are for being worthy of inheriting the earth. She also details the following:
Neither Christ nor Mohammed were any more than politically ambitious men who lived and died and are the pathways to deceit and deception. Human beings do NOT need dead men to reach God.
Hell is no more real than either Satan or Santa Claus.
Hell is a device which organized religion concocted to insult God.
God is pure and perfect and would NEVER allow a universe where anyone with power to sustain evil to exist.
God is a wave of energy whose range is infinite.
God would NEVER create a world where every time we eat, some plant or animal has to die!
WE built the physical universe and created the evolutionary blueprint for it. We abandoned God and we became trapped by it.
I suggest you read Leucedendra, the visitor from Antares who arrived in Roswell, New Mexico on July 4th, 1947. Her husband built the Georgia Guidestones in Nuberg, Georgia as a shrine of truth for all humanity to see.
Go to www.betweendeath.com and discover the truth, and why only 500,000,000 worthy and eligible human beings will survive when the rest of the 6,300,000,000 must die and be harvested for their protein and their water.
