Is the Human Species Hardwired to be Kind?

Alex Van den Berg

is this a joke ? homo sapien is, I believe, hard wired with a propensity for evil, a default state if you will, only our need to work together in groups for the greater good prevents us from reverting to our natural state which is to kill and dominate weaker tribes and individuals, as soon as the strictures of society are removed such as in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina or as currently being played out in Palestine today, the Home Sapien will always be nothing more than a nasty chimpanzee with a blood lust to kill and destroy, the idea that we are more pre disposed to being 'kind' is simply fanciful dreaming, killing is what we do best, we even devote our time and attention to devising ever more evil and vicious methods with which to kill each other.
The hairless Ape is the foulest creation to ever rise to dominance on Planet Earth.
