TGIF: The Original 1940 'Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe'
This 1940 classic opens with a deadly plague known as the Purple Death ravaging the planet. Ming the Merciless is suspected to be the evil mastermind behind the plague. Flash Gordon is sent with Dr. Zarkov and Dale Arden to the planet Mongo to find the cause of the plague, as well as a cure. It's a hoot! We give this one four spiral galaxies.

The video feed was so choppy it was hard to watch & took a long time to load, still, it was interesting to see the juxtaposition of 1940's cars & interplanetary space - craft.
