Ted Turner Unplugged: Iraq & Global Warming
He's crazy! Like a fox! In an interview with Charlie Rose last week, CNN founder Ted Turner likened Iraqi insurgents to "patriots," and warned that failure to reverse the global warming trend would lead to an inability to raise crops. "Most of the people will have died," Turner said. "And the rest of us will be cannibals."
As our friends at 236.com summed it up: "Finally, someone to cut through Al Gore's sugar-coated PowerPoint bullcrap. Ted Turner talks straighter than John McCain could ever dream."
Here's the Charlie Rose Interview.

If we're lucky, Turner will commit suicide to reduce the global population by 1

Yeah, Ted Turner is a well-known eugenic. He was the one who said that the world-population oughta be reduced to half a billion or something. It was an interview on CNN in the 90ies. Can't find the video on youtube now but it's out there.
He's from the same New World Order network and global warming is another thing they hijacked in order to implement outrageous laws and taxes upon the world society.
I too think Ted should start with himself and his family and commit all suicide in order to reduce population by his means.

About time someone said what needs to be said. Good for him.

He seemed more than a little loony during the interview. I mean, global warming is happening, but... calm down, dude! Try stating FACTS.

Yeah, Ted is blunt, but he's not dumb, and if you think the earth is getting better off as we approach 9 billion, half of whom are hungry, you should spend less time in the funny papers.

Love him or hate him, you have to admit on many issues he makes sense!

Ted is just like the rest of us....he is suffering from the curse of mankind....he is dying.
Only now does he become a spokesman for the enviorment...or mankind...or human rights..or whatever you need to fill in the blanks. We all die..for most of us it is a question of when and how. We all want to leave our "mark" to say...."hey...I was here."

Iraqi insurgents.... " Patriots " ? Sure, maybe in the same fashion that the Viet Cong were patriots in fighting the French Colonials & then Americans. An inability to raise crops due to global warming, I can recognize that, but CANNIBALISM ? Maybe Mr. Turner has seen " Soylent Green " a few times too many.
I don't know what to think about the man.

Traditionally, cannibalism has existed where the indigenous diet included little animal protein. For example, in the Aztec empire food crops were raised but no large livestock. This was also the case in Papua New Guinea. Populations that hunted game (North American aboriginals and most of Africa), and populations that raised large livestock (Eurasia, Inca Empire) did not need to resort to cannibalism to obtain protein.
