Is it a piece of eroded rock? A trick of Martian light? Or an alien waving from a barren hideout 300 million miles from planet earth?
NASA scientists have been puzzled by the peculiarly life-like image which has been beamed back to earth by one of their two robot rovers that are currently trundling about the surface of the red planet, on the hunt for clues of life on Mars.

I played around with this photo and just posted the amazing results on my www.cedarpost.com website. Check it out.

This is obviously a rock with a shaded side. You can see the contour of the rock along the top edge of the picture, then it bends and goes downward in a half-circle.

"Damned Dirty Apes!" It kinda reminds me of the apes from the original Planet of the apes movies.

This is clown material provided by this site. If it weren't they would have provided the date taken and reference number so we could look up the original on Nasa's site --> http://marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/all/spirit.html
<--- Features large enough to be noticed from a few feet away are often seen is several pictures as a rover moves from one position to another. Hell they didn't even mention the rover that took it.
My wild *** guess is the subject is hardly a few inches big.

OMFG!!!! ALIENZ!!!
Letz sendz teh shipz to marz and be all onz der planetz stealin der lack of life suportin climatez!!!111one!!
Come on. There is no life on Mars. Yeah, it would be really awsome... but there isn't.
There isn't a giant face on Mars.
There isn't a giant pyramid on Mars.
There isn't a mutant named Quato on Mars.
It's just some rock shot at a weird angle in some weird light.
LOLZ

On close inspection this image appears to be Photo-shopped. The image is clipped from the famous Bigfoot video where he is walking away from and beginning to look toward the camera. If you'll look carefully you'll see the fuzzy edges of the rock edge and where his torso begins.
In other words, just another hoax.

What's the source for the statement "NASA scientists have been puzzled..." I'm sure there isn't one as NASA scientists are not, generally, fools.

Honest to God, you wait a million years for a rover, then two of them come along at the same time....

Tribal leadership prevails, even on Mars, such that, as it is on earth for the sheeple, so it is on Mars.

Ok... I'll bite.... which NASA scientists? A citation is in order, or this becomes ominously akin to an Enquirer-esque attempt at publicity. Something I would personally hate to see from this site.
