Hot on the goal of becoming the operating system for the Social Web, Facebook opened its platform for a variety of cool apps (of interest to both Facebook members and non-members alike) showcased at Fbook Apps:

iLike: lets you add music to your profile and find your favorite concerts (and to see who else is going!). Bonus: Use it to get free mp3’s that match your tastes and try to beat your friends at the Music Challenge.

What Fbook Apps Say: This is probably the most popular application for a reason. Merges the power of a social community with something that everybody loves: music. Not only does it take advantage of the online community, but it brings people together IRL (in real life!) If you haven't tried it yet, check it out. It's pretty amazing.
